An Open Letter To My Identity Theft Person

Dear Mr. Identity Theft Person,

Leonardo Hernandez Perez - I don’t like you. I am so sick and tired of having to deal with you. You have made me waste precious time on you. You have caused me to be stressed. You have made me worry. Even today I am still waiting to hear from Social Security because of your actions.

I can understand you wanting to come to this country for a better life for you and your family. But you need to go through the proper channels. I don’t appreciate you using my Social Security number. You have caused me to have to deal with the Internal Revenue Service for the last 3 years. Let me tell you they are not an easy bunch of people to deal with. Same goes for the Social Security office.

You delay my income tax return check every year because they say I have unreported income. That’s income you earn under my Social Security number that you do not pay taxes on. So they want me to pay them. You cause me to have to go file a police report, a report with all the credit reporting agencies and the Federal Trade Commission.

It is not right that you would do that to someone. You come over here steal my identity and then go back on your merry way. All I can say to you is that if they never catch you, you will still pay. We have a saying here in America, “what goes around comes around” excuse me - for your benefit “Lo que sucede alrededor viene alrededor”. That basically means you’re going to get yours.

You have the same last name as my maiden name but we are in no way family. I am sad that my father’s heritage, one that we are all very proud of, does this to Americans. You are not a man of honor.

¡Una cosa más, comer mi cortos!

If you want to read some more open letters hop over to SITS.

Have a blessed day!

Hi SITSta! I feel your pain and it is very, very hard not to become completely bitter about something like this. I wish there was a good solution out there. You're right, though, what goes around comes around!!!

Hi Valerie,
Thanks for stopping by my blog! Oh goodness, I can't believe someone did that to you! He will pay for it, someway or another. It makes me sick to think that people do that and get away with it. Seems like our government needs some better systems in place to protect its' legal citizens! Anywho... I am on a rampage because this makes me so mad however I wish you a wonderful weekend and I am glad you got to vent about this ordeal.

I have had my identiy infiltrated also and it is a pain in the butt. My brother is an Identity Theft Specialist, in law enforcement for 30 yrs. He says, now adays people break into homes and don't steal material things, they just take pictures with cell phones etc.. people can just come into your home and take a look at your mail you leave laying around and take pictures. Or steal your junk mail. How many people would notice a few pieces of junk mail missing from the table??? You think all is ok because "everything" is still there. A few months later you find that someone has a credit card etc in your name that you don't know about because you were not thinking about the papers. They even make the montly payments on the card, just so they can HAVE credit and this is why you don't know about it. Well I learned to shred it all. I hope they catch this guy, I feel your pain.
