Musical Monday - A Summer Place

Hello Everyone,

Musical Monday

As a child when I first seen A Summer Place with Sandra Dee I fell in love. I fell in love with the movie, the theme song, Sandra Dee and Troy Donahue. I woke up this morning with this song on my mind, so it had to be my Musical Monday! I hope you enjoy it!

That was of course the musical version. I have included Andy Williams' version for those of you who would like to hear the words that went with the song.

There's a summer place
Where it may rain or storm
Yet I'm safe and warm
For within that summer place
Your arms reach out to me
And my heart is free from all care
For it knows

There are no gloomy skies
When seen through the eyes
Of those who are blessed with love

And the sweet secret of
A summer place
Is that it's anywhere
When two people share
All their hopes
All their dreams
All their love

There's a summer place
Where it may rain or storm
Yet I'm safe and warm
In your arms, in your arms
In your arms, in your arms
In your arms, in your arms

There is just something about this song. Hop over to Jori's or Diane's blog for more Musical Monday posts.

Have a blessed day!

There's been so much rain here in NY, it hardly feels like summer. You need tunes like that to remind you it's actually June!
Happy MM! :)
