Work, Bracelets and HIS Will Wednesdays

Hello Everyone,

Oh wow I have had a couple of real busy days. Work just kept piling up on my desk last week. But because of how great I am today I knocked out everything!! lol A whole week's worth of work gone. So tomorrow I have to file, file, file. We have had some changes going on at my work before I took off last week. I have had to keep on my boss about him doing things the wrong way. So I just knew when I got back this week that I was going to have to say something to him for messing up. Well I was surprised he didn't mess up at all! You just don't know how shocked I was.

Remember SITS Spring Fling and this post? Well I got the bracelet from Christine at Tags & Stones and I haven't posted it on here yet. I had decided I was going to give it to my daughter so I had Christine put my daughter's name, her husband's name, and their son's name on the tags. I also had her include their birthstone gems. The best part is when my daughter has her other baby she will be able to add a tag and birthstone for him. So here it is:



Now I know you can't read the names with this picture but it is really great. If I can get a better picture I'll swap it out. I had to use my phone camera and just couldn't get it to look right. I absolutely loved it!

Speaking of bracelets I hadn't realized that I hadn't posted about my present from my daughter, son-in-law and grandson. They gave me this beautiful bracelet.



Now I love it. I loved it so much that I thought it would go with anything and I could wear it always. Well that very night my husband asked me to cut his hair and I thought well I know it's there I'll be real careful. So I wore it while I was cutting his hair. You guessed it! I cut the cross right off. I got so mad at myself. So I told Summer who laughed about it and promptly ordered me a new one. Isn't she great?

Remember this post about April Rose? Well her mother is starting a HIS Will Wednesdays she was so overwhelmed with all the love and support she has received that she has started this to have prayers for others. Oh and by the way she is now 37 weeks!! That is just amazing! Hop over and check it out!

Squirrelling Around

Hello Everyone,

When I left for work this morning I noticed that the blind covering our basement door had been torn. About three slats (is that what you call them?) had been pulled down towards the bottom. Hubby is still at home so I called him and asked if he had done it or put anything up against the door that could have fell and broke them. He said no but he had been hearing noise down in the basement yesterday while he was sick.

How weird. So he went down there and was looking around when he was startled by a movement. Somehow a squirrel has found it's way into our basement. The mystery is how? There are only two ways in - the garage door and the basement door. Neither one of them has been opened recently so we are not sure how in the world he got in. Hubby has left the garage door open so hopefully he will run out.

It was only a couple of years ago that we got a couple of squirrels in our attic. We never found out how they got up there but it was a happy ending. We were afraid we were going to have to put out poision because we just couldn't catch them. But they eventually left on their own and hubby went around the roof and the side of the house trying to figure out how they got in. I guess only the squirrels will ever know that.

I'd hate to kill a squirrel I just think they are so cute. My mother-in-law and her last husband use to get so mad at them for eating the seed out of the bird feeders they use to put out in their yard. I never understood why in the world they would get so mad over that. Every time we went over there it was always brought up and that topic would last at least two hours. When you put food in a tree what makes you think a squirrel isn't going to eat it?

So here is a picture of a cute little fellow I found - I wouldn't want to mess with him!
