News and Titus 2 Tuesday

Hello Everyone,

So Thursday I went to find out my biopsy results. Apparently the preliminary results are the only results they have. Which mean that the only thing wrong with my kidney is that the blood vessels are being restricted. So for now we are going to use medication to try to correct this. We are going to keep a good eye on my liver and see how it responds to this medication. I have to go back on the 14th to see how my results are.

On how I am feeling. I have been feeling really good until today. I woke up feeling nauseous and then as I was going about getting ready for work I started feeling weak. The doctor told me the new medicine I am taking will make me feel nauseous but I am worried about the weak feeling I am having. Last time when my liver started acting up due to new medicine one of the first signs was lack of energy. So I am a little worried about that - especially since I don't go back til the 14th. If I get to feeling really bad I'll be calling him.

I am stressing a little because my daughter and I have a Mother/Daughter banquet Thursday and I do not want to miss it. I have been looking forward to it and I will be very disappointed if I don't get to go. So I gotta start feeling better. lol

I am a little bummed because we only have two weeks left of our Beth Moore Bible Study. I am really enjoying it. Every Monday I look forward to our study. I realized last night that as I watched the DVD of Beth I was sitting there with my mouth open. After a while I caught myself doing it again. So I am wondering if I have been doing that this whole time. lol While I am really listening to her and making notes my mouth is gaping open like I am staring in wonderment. lol What a sight that must be.

On to some good news and some bad news. My husband is back!!!! He came home on Sunday and then before he left they called and told him the job was shutting down. Yay!!! However, what that means is that he is out of a job for now. That's the bad news. So I will be living in frugal mode until this Friday at least. At which time we will have a pretty good idea of what and where he'll be going/doing. Prayers would be appreciated that they have a job for him here in town. I would be very grateful!!!

What have learned from another woman this week? (or ever)

I have learned from my friend Amy that although you face grave obstacles you can manage to still be cheerful. Amy has cancer and she has been having chemo and radiation treatment. She is still one of the nicest people I know. We whine about the little things in life when we should be thankful for all the things we have.

I found this over at A Teachable Heart and liked it! So I thought I would join in on the fun. Click on her link to see others.

Now before I go Happy Cinco de Mayo!!! Until next time

Have a blessed day!

Thank you for joining in today!

I will be praying for your health. Definitely call your Doc in a couple of days if things don't change with the weakness!

Remember that you don't have to "fake" being happy or feeling well when you don't. Take it one day at a time. Get into God's Word daily and ask Him to provide the strength that you need. He will shine through...

HUGS!

Hi! Found you from Shanda's blog. And my Titus 2 today was on my friend Amy, who also battled cancer. I hope you get to feeling better soon and that you're able to go to the banquet later this week.

I hope you're feeling better and able to go to that banquet. But if you are too sick, don't push yourself, your daughter will understand.
