Miscellaneous and Hubs

Hello Everyone,

Gosh I have a lot to catch up on and tell you guys. I still have to post pictures of the baby shower and pictures of the baby when he was born. A lot has been going on both in my life and work. I have been crazy busy. I promise to get you all caught up by Monday.

I love to sing but I sound awful. I really do. But it doesn't keep me from doing it. Here is a little exchange between me and my hubs while we were listening to the choir at church a Sunday or two ago.

Hubs: That's what you ought to do.

Me: What?

Hubs: The choir, you ought to do that. You love to sing.

Me: Coming from the one person that is always telling me I can't sing.

Hubs: Well, why not?

Me: You know, they are having enrollment right now.

Hubs: Do it.

Me: You think I sound awful why would I get up in front of everyone if I sound awful.

Hubs: Don't worry about that. They will all drown you out.

A Singing and An Egg Hunt

Hello Everyone,

I had a great weekend guys! Friday night it started off with a singing at church. It was an absolutely awesome production. It was an event that I enjoyed so much. There were songs, skits and a white glove black light show. Did I say it was awesome? I wish I had brought my camera with me. What an awesome blessing.

Early Saturday morning Ray and I went to the church Easter Egg Hunt. This is Ray before the hunt he was so anxious. They started off by singing a couple of songs and he started dancing. He was so cute.

Also, my batteries died right when we got there so I didn't have time to change the date so just don't pay attention to it. lol So anyways, all the way to the hunt he was saying 'basket, basket'. lol He is just so cute.

When it was time I took him to where the eggs were and I said 'look Ray pick up the egg and put it in your basket'. I want to tell you he let out a scream when I told him that and then he took off running. He started grabbing eggs and putting them in his basket like crazy. Every time he picked up an egg he let out a scream. He was just too funny.

He got 17 eggs in all. I had to stop him because his

basket was full and I was having to put eggs in my sweater pocket.

He kept doing this after we were done. I had to take his basket away
because every time he did it his eggs would fly every where.

Well after the egg hunt we went and got some lunch and off to my house. Paw was up and we ate and showed him all of Ray's eggs and candy. It wasn't long before my little guy was off in dream land.

On Sunday we all got together with my family. Larry was off work so he rode up later on the motorcycle. It was nice to be with everyone and especially nice to eat. lol I hope you all had a great weekend too.

Weekend Fun

Hello Everyone,

I hope your weekend is going well. Mine has been great. Friday I had lunch with all of my siblings. Helen and I usually have lunch everyday and one of my other sisters usually join us a couple times a week. On Friday's our brother does. Well this past Friday all of us were together. We haven't had lunch with all of us present in a while. It was nice and we had a lot of fun, probably too much as we got stares a couple of times. Oh well!

Saturday started early for us. We woke up had a big breakfast then we got our lil man. The minute his feet hit our living room floor he is off. He's like a kid in toy land (not that we have that many toys). He runs straight for his toy box and starts digging in it. We have so much fun with him. He gets so tired but absolutely refuses to take a nap while he is at our house.

We left to go to my sisters for a birthday celebration. I had mentioned in my post on Friday that Saturday was my grandmother's birthday. Well it is also my brother in law's birthday, Anthony. You may remember Anthony from here. So we made enchilada's and had a great time. My cousins from Florida were here and it was nice seeing them and their kids.

We decided to make a fire outside and roasted marshmallows so that we could make smores. Oh they were delicious. We hadn't done that in forever. We always have a good time together and it's nice to be with my family. We played on the Xbox and sang with the Xbox band thingy that my nephew got for Christmas. My family always protests to my singing. lol

I absolutely love to sing. Unfortunately I am tone deaf and I can't carry a tune. So when we are in heaven and you hear the most beautiful voice singing that you have ever heard - it will be me. I am totally convinced that God is going to give me a beautiful voice in heaven because I didn't have one here on earth. Either that or all of you are going to get dysfunctional ears that make my earthly voice sound great!

One more thing I think it's time to introduce you to my new grandchild. I don't know what sex he/she is yet but I already love her/him! I am excited about watching her/him come into this world just like I did her/his brother. That was the most amazing moment of my life. My daughter and son in law are the best for wanting me with them during that special moment. My daughter said every girl wants their Mom with them when they give birth. I know she's right cause I did too.

It's just amazing!

I need to run now. I have a nice day planned and need to get it started. I hope it's a looonngg day because I'm not ready for the weekend to end. Take care!
