Musical Monday - In My Daughter's Eyes

Today my Musical Monday is "In My Daughter's Eyes" by Martina McBride. It is so true about how I feel about my daughter. I have posted the video but also the lyrics. It just sums up how I feel about having her in my life. She was sent to rescue me and I am glad that she has grown into a wonderful mother. She makes me very proud and I am so glad at how close we are.

Watching her have her own child and how she is with him just amazes me. She is by far a better mother than I was at her age. She has such patience that I didn't, she plays with him constantly which I didn't. I just see so much more in her as a mother than I ever felt that I ever did when she was little. I am so blessed to have her as a daughter. She is my greatest love.

Just read the lyrics of this song. She thinks I can fix anything. She knows I am there for her no matter what. I am glad that she feels that way about me because in her eyes I give her that comfort of knowing I am here. She'll never know until she's probably my age and having her own grandchildren of what she gives/gave to me.
