Well today is a special day. It is my mother's birthday. I had some pictures to show ya'll but I left my flash drive at home. I'll try to post some tomorrow. So Happy Birthday Mother!!!
Thankfully it is Friday so that means it's Aloha Friday. Aloha Friday is hosted by An Island Girl. Hop over to see other Aloha Friday's or to join in on the fun. Don't know what Aloha Friday is? In Island Girl's words:
In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too.
Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a
lengthy response.
Okay so my question for this Friday is:
What is the biggest lie you ever told?
First let me just say that I do not believe in lying. I feel like I am an adult and I won't say anything behind your back that I won't say to your face. Neither do I like being lied to or lied about or someone lying about something I didn't say. If I said it I will say I said it. But I am human and I have not always been an adult. lol
So my answer to my question is:
The biggest lie I ever told would have to be when I was around 20. I had went to the lake around an hour away and didn't get home til like 4 a.m. When I got home my mother and step-father were really mad. When they asked where I was I lied and told them that I fell asleep at a friends house. I actually had went and spent "time" with my boyfriend.
So there you have it. Now go on leave a comment and answer my question. I promise I won't tell anyone!

Happy birthday to your mom!
Join me in some baby shower fun today by visiting my blog!
Told my daughter that she doesn't need to go on a diet. She's a teenager and you have to be very careful about what you say.
Happy Birthday to your mom!
I can't think of any really big specific lies. But as a teenager, I know I lied about my whereabouts a few times.
My Aloha Friday :)
Going out and missing curfew we said we had a flat tire.
I don't even know...must have blocked it out. Hope your mom has a wonderful day!
I lied about being able to move out on my own when I was 17. My dad had to sign a school permission slip saying he gave me permission to live on my own, He was pissed that I moved out of the house so I lied about the form and told him if he didn't sign it and I got hurt I wouldn't be able to get treatment.
I "borrowed" our family's Boeing 747 (massive station wagon) & it quit when we were pulling half way into the drive. There were about 30 people in my driveway when my parents came home. All were neighbors & two of them were professional mechanics. My dad got it started immediately. I didn't get in trouble because my parents felt I'd learned my lesson. I did. Also my dad told me that I would always be found out so it wasn't even worth it to try. He was so right.
I am really honest almost all of the time. But in high school I lied to my mom about going to standardized testing and she found out...it was not pretty!
Happy Birthday! I can't think of the last lie I told, I prayed for help to stop, and now everytime I do, I get caught, so needless to say, I quit FAST:)
Following your blog!
Late but never forgotten! Have a great weekend my fellow sitstahs!
