Fickle Friday!

Hello Everyone,

I learn how to do different things on blogger everyday. This is my second blog and the one I've had the most fun with. Like today, I was wondering how the SITS girls get their posts up every morning at around 12 a.m. So I was browsing around on my post and low and behold there's this little thing on the bottom called "Post Options".

Now I have clicked on it and seen it a hundred of times but today I noticed the post date and time to the right. How wonderful! I am currently typing this Thursday night at 9:29 p.m. I usually wait til I have free time at work to post my blog. So sometimes I'm switching between work and blogs. Since it looks like my work is getting busy again I will be taking full advantage of this new little trick that I have found. I have had to neglect my blog before because of work demands, home demands and just life getting in the way. So this is going to be my new way of posting. So look you can look around and try to figure things out yourself like me or you can be smart and check out this site Tricks for New Bloggers.

So have you found out any tricks or how to's on your own? Share the information if you have. Because I tell you, you can teach an old dog new tricks. (No sarcastic remarks for those that know me personally!) I am going to try to find one that will generate labels for posts. I almost always forget to do it, then I have to go back and think what should be my labels. Sometimes it's easy but other times I have to think about it. While I'm at it I'm gonna look for one that generates titles too. See how lazy technology makes you? If you know of any of these generaters let me know.

After going around and reading blogs I have realized that my dear husband isn't the only husband out there that can't stand it when I blog. We all know that they are worse than the kids. Mine will huff and puff and try to blow my laptop away. He is an only child and I don't know if that has anything to do with it but he wants all of my attention when I'm home. But wait a minute . . . IF there is any kind of sports on or a Clint Eastwood movie he doesn't even want me in the room. What's up with that?

When I get mad at him I am AWFUL! I will get his remote control and cut the cable off so when he goes to use it, it won't work when he tries to change the channels. My husband is an Electrician but he cannot even set an alarm clock. He is technology challenged. I take full advantage of that. I have switched around his cables in the back of the cable box, I have fixed the TV so that it doesn't have any sound. I have rigged his DVD player so that we won't have to watch Bruce Lee movies all night long. Mean, I know. But this is my way of getting back at him when he makes me mad. Plus it makes me laugh when I hear him in our bedroom trying to fix it. If we have had a misunderstanding (FIGHT) this is the best way I can think of to get back at him. See I told you I am awful. What do you do? Come on I know you do something.

Speaking of TV I am already tired of hearing about the DTV switch. I mean we know, we get it, STOP doing count downs, commercials, little marque scrolls on the bottom of my favorite shows. Enough already!

I titled this post Fickle Friday because I was touching on different topics. I read that you are suppose to think of the title of your blog before you write it. I never do that, I usually do my title after I have written my blog. How about you? Do you know your title before you write or after?

Well that's it for today. I still have some comments I want to make to some of my SITStas, so off I go. Have a great Friday!

Have a blessed day!

well...i never knew you could post like that either! i thought that just allowed you to change the time stamp on the post...like if you started it one day and finished it a week later... i might have to try that myself!

and i think it is quite funny that you mess with the electrical cords...i'm not sure my hubby would fall for that... :) but he also doesn't always understand my blogging...

Haha, that is too funny.

Oh and I totally agree on the DTV switch thing... we hear about it way to much! And I usually forward through commercials, and I still hear it too much!!

Glad you're figuring out some fun tricks on blogger!!

I cheat. Every Sunday afternoon, I rough draft a weeks worth of posts and then the day before it goes live, I edit. Sometimes the need arises or I think of something else I want to write about and add another post or two.
I've got lots of links for Blogger tips and can point you in lots of directions if you like :) Just let me know!

HA that's quite funny! I love playing with the gadgets that blogger have. The only thing I wish they would do is update their templates! Sooooo basic.
