Miscellaneous and Hubs

Hello Everyone,

Gosh I have a lot to catch up on and tell you guys. I still have to post pictures of the baby shower and pictures of the baby when he was born. A lot has been going on both in my life and work. I have been crazy busy. I promise to get you all caught up by Monday.

For now I want to remind you about my Christmas Ornament Swap. Getting a good response to it and I am so excited. I WANT YOU TO JOIN IN ON THE FUN TOO!!! So sign up!!

I love to sing but I sound awful. I really do. But it doesn't keep me from doing it. Here is a little exchange between me and my hubs while we were listening to the choir at church a Sunday or two ago.

Hubs: That's what you ought to do.

Me: What?

Hubs: The choir, you ought to do that. You love to sing.

Me: Coming from the one person that is always telling me I can't sing.

Hubs: Well, why not?

Me: You know, they are having enrollment right now.

Hubs: Do it.

Me: You think I sound awful why would I get up in front of everyone if I sound awful.

Hubs: Don't worry about that. They will all drown you out.

Until next time

Have a blessed day,

Wonderful. We are thrilled to have you join us (when you can) to do our online Bible Study for MOMS. We are studying Ephesians and my study is called "High Stepping in Heavenly Place." It begins on Sept. 24. We have a video for you to watch each week. Even if you dont have time to do the homework, you might want to tune in and/or read the comments on the blog. It is very flexible.

I have taught Moms for 21 years and love encouraging them and inspiring them in the Word of God. Please invite you MOMMA friends to join us to.

You can order your book at www.jeanstockdale.com and find more details on my blog at http://jeanstockdale.typepad.com

My Mom was in choir when she was a teenager and the choir leader actually asked her to just mouth the words :) Good thing my Mom has never been one to let words bother her too much...

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today!

I'm not a good singer either. But I say if you love it, you should join. The practice can only make you better!

I love it. He is encouraging yet honest. He'd never let you go on American Idol saying "But my husband says I sing great" but he will encourage you to pursue what you love. Great great great!
