Mama's Losin' It Writer's Workshop

Mama's Losin' It

I have been wanting to do Mama's Losin' It Writer's Workshop for a while now and just never have got around to it. So I decided I would do it today!!

So what you do is pick one of the prompts and, well write about it!

The Prompts:

1.) The heart that just wouldn’t quit.
2.) Relay an entertaining conversation or string of emails you recently had with someone.
3.) Open your picture folders…find a random “February” picture from a past year and tell a story.
4.) Childhood memory time: Write about something you loved to do as a child.
5.) “The ache for home lives in all of us, the safe place where we can go as we are and not be questioned” ~ Maya Angelou -Now write.

You know a Grammy is never going to pass up a chance to blog about her grandbabies so of course I picked #3!!

This is my oldest grandson he was 16 months in this picture. For those of you who have read my blog for a while this is the same picture I had as my header (back when I designed my own blog).  At this time in his life he was obsessed with glasses. He loved to wear them. These particular glasses were Diego glasses whom he still loves! The only story here really is the pure happiness of a child. And yes we have had his hair cut since this picture. lol

Now I know the assignment is for a past year but well, since this is the only February this little guy has seen I had to share it! This is Bruce and this is his first time in a Bumbo. It looks like he quite doesn't know what to think. lol Since this photo has been taken he has also experienced the joy of a Johnny Jumper! He is 6 months old by the way.

So I hope you enjoyed my first Writer's Workshop post. You really need to hop over to  Kat's blog and check out all the other posts! Or you can join in the fun!!!

Have a blessed day!

Grandchildren are very special. My kids are a very special part of their grandparents' lives.

Aren't grandkids wonderful? It IS a wonderful life when we get to raise children, and then see our children raising their children ... and we get to be part of the fun, too.
