Happy Birthday and Aloha Friday!

Hello Everyone,

Today is my darling wonderful cutie patootie grandsons birthday!! I can't believe that he is already 2!!! He is such a joy to be around and so darn smart!! Here he is at his cousins birthday earlier this month. He loved whacking that pinata, I had already bought him one for his party. I didn't know my sister was going to have one too. But anyway hers was a butterfly and his is his favorite cartoon character Diego!!! That is his party theme. We are celebrating it on Sunday and I will be running by his house tonight to give him his birthday day present. So Happy Birthday Baby Boy Grammy Loves You!!!!

We are big Survivor fans at my house. When it first started years ago they would let you bring a luxury item with you. So . . .

What would be your luxury item?

My answer:

My luxury item would have to be my Bible. It comforts me to read His word and let's me know that I am under His care always!!

My answer:

My favorite is Robin Williams! Hubs and I are going to be seeing him tomorrow night!! Yay!!! We are so excited! Our tickets were actually for March but he had to have heart surgery and it got postponed til tomorrow. Let's hope all goes well!!

Turning 30 was the age that bothered me the most. Yesterday I turned 45 and I totally enjoyed my birthday!!

Aloha Friday – Dog Breed

I am doing The LPM Blog’s Summer Bible Study and one of the ice breaker questions we were asked were what breed of dog do we most resemble. So I am stealing this question.

My question for today is:

What breed of dog do you most resemble in demeanor and why?

My answer:

I wasn’t sure so our Bible Study group discussed it for a minute. I am a laid back person, mostly. But when you get me mad I will take your head off. So we decided that I was a mixed breed of a Lab and  a Pitt Bull! lol

If I were a flip flop I would be a blue flip flop. I would also be a girly type flip flop!!

Aloha Friday - Most Embarrassing

They are adorable. We love them. They say the cutest things. They do the cutest things. My question today is:

Has your child ever embarrassed you in public? Do tell!

My answer:

Since I am a grandmother now I am sure I will have more embarrassing moments with my grandchildren. My daughter Summer was usually very well behaved. But she was taught by me to speak her mind, be honest and to tell the truth. When she was young after church one day, we were talking to our preacher Brother Robert. Now Brother Robert was a great preacher we also have family ties on Summer's side (his daughter is Summer's aunt). Well while we were talking I said I better go my back and feet are killing me. Then my beautiful daughter saids "It's probably because she's got her period." Was my face red!

My answer:

My least favorite would have to be wearing a bra. I have a whole post ready about this subject that I have yet to publish. But that is the worst thing I hate.

Well today is a special day. It is my mother's birthday. I had some pictures to show ya'll but I left my flash drive at home. I'll try to post some tomorrow. So Happy Birthday Mother!!!

Okay so my question for this Friday is:

What is the biggest lie you ever told?

First let me just say that I do not believe in lying. I feel like I am an adult and I won't say anything behind your back that I won't say to your face. Neither do I like being lied to or lied about or someone lying about something I didn't say. If I said it I will say I said it. But I am human and I have not always been an adult. lol

So my answer to my question is:

The biggest lie I ever told would have to be when I was around 20. I had went to the lake around an hour away and didn't get home til like 4 a.m. When I got home my mother and step-father were really mad. When they asked where I was I lied and told them that I fell asleep at a friends house. I actually had went and spent "time" with my boyfriend.

What is your favorite memory of just you and your mother?

My answer is when I had my daughter. She was in the delivery room with me and I really don't know who else I would have wanted with me. I was a lot calmer with her there. I understood the joy she felt when my own daughter asked me to be with her and her husband when she delivered her baby.

My question is:

What is your most embarrassing moment?

Mine was when I was around 15 I had got all dressed up to go to some event. My sisters and I were walking to the event and they left a minute or two before I did. We lived on a little hill and the sidewalks were messed up with tree roots making them buckle up. I was hurrying to catch up with them when I tripped. Why was I so embarrassed? Because there were around 12 guys in the front yard of the house I tripped in front of. Boy was my face red!

My answer:

Yes I do!! Sometimes I want to go into my boss' office and break

off all the lead off of his pencils. Then I want to hide the

pencil sharpener. He won't ask where it is

he'll just walk around looking for it. lol

I have blogged about unplugging my husbands cable cause he can't

figure out where all the wires go with the HD and all. I enjoy

doing this especially when we are arguing. I enjoy

him having to come and ask

me to fix it for him. lol
