Hello Everyone,
I am finally sitting at home on my couch. One of my favorite places to be. Today started rather early. Well to be honest yesterday ended way late like 4 a.m. late. Then I was up at 8:30. I even woke up refreshed and ready to go. Thank God because all week I have felt puny and not able to walk out to my car without feeling bad.
I started off my day by going to Hayden and getting my three nieces so that they could help me with Ray. Now my daughter didn't want me to keep Ray because I am not suppose to lift anything for two weeks. She was afraid I would hurt myself. But I refuse to give up my Saturdays with my baby. So I enlisted my nieces.
Well actually last night I was telling my mother I would need help and was thinking about asking one of them. Well within 15 minutes of speaking to my mother my niece Nikkie called and said she would help me. Yay! By this morning her twin wanted to come then my sister's daughter wanted to come too. I had more than enough help and it was great spending the day with all three of them. I haven't done that for a while.
After I picked up the girls we ran to get my grandson. He was excited and ready to go. So off we went first to Angel Food Ministries. Love this organization. After distributing the food we headed to WalMart. We have a baby shower tomorrow and all of us had to get presents. This is for my cousin's daughter. Well, she is not my cousin by blood but her father was my sister's Nino (Godfather) and we considered him an uncle and his kids our cousins. Her daughter is having a boy and I got her a baby bouncer. I remember how Ray loved his.
Once we left WalMart we decided to go eat. We had Mexican - yum, yum, yummy as my grandson would say. I grew up every day of my life eating Mexican food, if it wasn't for my husband I would be eating it every night. Then off we were shopping some more.
I have had everything for my blog swap and just needed a couple of little things so that I can ship it off on Monday. I don't usually wait til the last day of the deadline but well, all last week was a bust. I am excited and hope she likes what I have put together for her.
Oh here's a picture for your viewing pleasure.
Is he not a doll? He looks like he is sad but he is really trying to pucker to give my sister a kiss. I tell you this is why this little guy just has me wrapped around all of his little fingers and toes!!
Do you ever have gut feelings? Do you listen to your gut feelings? The reason I am asking is because my gut is really talking to me right now. You know what it is saying? FEED ME!! lol Well, I haven't ate since lunch. Gotta listen to my gut!
Have a blessed day!
Hello Everyone,
Today was a good day. I felt really good. I am not nervous about the biopsy on Monday at all. So that's a good thing! Also today was the A day game for Alabama!! ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!! Can't wait for football season.
I had Ray all day today. We had a great time together and around 2 we went to my house and got to see Paw. Tomorrow I get to spend the whole day with my husband and I am excited about that. Last Sunday because of Easter I got to see him for around 5 hours. But our time together has been maybe 4 hours every week for the last 2 months.
I have really missed him! I am looking forward to seeing him in the morning and the rest of the day. I don't complain to him about not being able to see him because what he is doing is for the benefit of our family. I learned early on that his work would take him away for long periods of times. I am just happy that I get to see him for a couple of hours on Saturdays and Sundays. I am just thankful for the 4 hours a week we get. After hearing about all the people out of work we are blessed. All that God has done for us and how much he blesses us, not complaining is the least I can do.
Along with my biopsy news I had to tell Larry that his mother has to have heart surgery. This would be her third one. From what I could gather from her she has to have the same heart valve replaced. She says she is going to get a second opinion. I told her she needed to do it right away. I can understand her wanting a second opinion though. I'll let you guys know more details as I do.
My husband doesn't do well with surgeries and stuff like that. I am usually the calm one when it comes to stuff like that. He doesn't like hospitals at all. For that matter neither does our daughter. lol I know tomorrow is going to be good for us but also a little nerve racking about Monday and his mom. But as I stated I am just glad we are going to be together.
So I'll be doing a Musical Monday tomorrow but then won't be posting about the biopsy until after noon on Tuesday. I have to be at the hospital Monday at 6 a.m. and then on Tuesday at 7 a.m. but I won't get the results until Tuesday at around 11.
I need to hit the sack now Larry will be home around 5:30 a.m. and if I know my husband he'll want to talk a couple of hours then hit the sack. My problem is that usually when I wake up, I'm up for good. Which means only around 5 hours of sleep for me! So I am hoping ya'll are having a good evening. Night!
Have a blessed day!
