A POST, A POST!!!

Oh wow I must apologize! I didn't realize that the last time I posted was on the 17th!!! I am so sorry!! I could have sworn that I have posted since then and I was right. Except for it was in draft!! Of which I haven't finished!!

So I have just been busy living life! I remember when my daughter was young and so involved in so much stuff that I didn't think there was enough hours of the day! After she went to college I had soooo much time on my hands. It took a while to get use to being an empty nester! Then I went back to work and started to get involved in things for ME! Well it wasn't long til I was just as busy and always on the go again! Now that I am also a Grammy I am thinking the same thing - there's not enough hours in the day. I enjoy being busy. But I also like my relaxation time. For me that is watching tv, reading a book, bible study or just praying. These are times that are spent alone - ME time! Well I'm not going into details right now but hubs and I are about to have some life changes that will limit my ME time considerably. Not complaining - just a little timid, worried and concerned - but also a LOT excited!! I'll have to fill you in later.

I am so excited about Easter this weekend! Last year my DD and her hubs were working when my church had their Easter egg hunt so it was just me and Ray. You can see how much fun we had here. Even though we had fun it was hard trying to catch good camera moments with just me. This year my DD is a stay at home mom and she will be joining us along with Bruce. So I am glad that they will be coming along with us. When I first told her about it she kinda thought I just wanted me and Ray to go alone again. But I made sure she knew that I wanted her and Bruce there too! I am old and need the help!! lol

We are also having our annual Easter program on Friday night. I am so excited about it. Last year was spectacular and I have heard this year is even better. I'll be posting pics next week!

I am sad that next Monday will be our last bible study session. I am always sad when they come to an end! My church does one in the Winter and one in the Fall. I usually find another group or do one online in the Summer. I just like to have a study going at all times. It just blesses me and I am always wanting to study His word.

Oh hey if you want to read a really funny post about Communion/Lord's Supper hop over to Fran's blog - Blessed by Him! She had me laughing sooo hard!! I think I first noticed Fran over at the LPM Blog and then we became friends on Twitter and Facebook. She is such a wonderful, Lord loving person! She has the best heart and I am just so blessed to have 'met' her. Oh and so super excited that I will be meeting her IRL in April!!! Yay!!!! Hop over and tell Fran I sent ya!

I am going to close this post with some new pics of my little men! Hope you enjoy them and don't hold back telling me how wonderful they are!!!

Aren't they too cute!! lol Oh and um please excuse the mess on the right.
I don't pick up til after they leave!

Have a blessed day!

Yesterdays Review

Hello Everyone,

It is a sad thing when I get calls and messages from people telling me that they think another couple are separated.
The same thing happened this time last year to the same couple. But what does it say about that couple, as people, when everyone that has called are acting happy and laughing about it? When people are happy because you are facing misfortune, you have to wonder - what in the world kind of person you are for people to be feeling like that during your time of trial? It's sad.

Yesterday was so busy for me. It started out with a couple of errands. We were having a graduation party at a building that I reserved and I had to give the key to my mother so they could decorate while I was in a meeting.
Very frustrating when trying to get in touch with my mother whose home phone was busy and cell phone went straight to voice mail. I took off from work so that I could get all of my errands ran, meetings met, doctor appointments over before my nieces graduated at 2:30. I finally ran down my nieces and gave them the key. So then I did all of the stuff I had to. I left the doctors office at 1:30 and went to get my daughter and grandson.

The graduation was nice, A LOT of kids. It was also very hot. Everyone in the building was fanning themselves. Then it was long. Not only did they have a lot of kids graduating (I think 179) but they were letting 12 of the honor students speak. Now after the first one it was monotonous. I mean they all said the same thing. They need to leave it to just the salutatorian and the valedictorian. It really wouldn't have been bad if it hadn't been so hot. So when you see people are melting then you need to speed things along!!

After the graduation we went off to the party. It was really nice. My brother's new girlfriend did a great job with the food. Every thing looked and tasted good. We all stuffed ourselves, took pictures and opened presents. A good time for everyone. Since I forgot my camera I don't have any pictures I'll have to post some later from my sisters camera.

Then I had a decision to make. A free trip to Panama City - but I had to make it fast as they were leaving as soon as the party was over. I was very tempted. I really wanted to go. But alas there are responsibilities that have to be met first. I just didn't have the time to get stuff taken care of so that I could go. :(

After the party I did go look at my sisters new home. They are closing on the 12th. It is absolutely beautiful. It is only about 5 minutes from my mom, sister and brother. So now all of my family are living in Hayden but me, my younger sister and my daughter. We all when I was young had lived in Hayden about twice. Once on one end of a renovated school, family friends lived on the other end. They owned the school at that time. The first school Hayden had ever had. It went from 1 - 12. We loved living there. There was a sewing shop in between. lol I think that's when I first learned to sew. Of course we were good friends with the owner and she had all kinds of patterns and material. At that time none of the subdivisions that are there now were there. The road we lived on was a gravel one. It was fun though.

The kids were so excited about their new home. I had Ray with me and they were yelling Ray Ray look. Finally my nephew Steven put his little hands on Rays shoulders and was showing him around the house. They were just too cute. Then he and his sister decided to hold hands with Ray and show him around. This is their conversation when they got to the bathroom.

Steven: (very slowly) Ray-Ray this is our bathhroooommmm
Ray: Bathhhhhh
Steven: (very slowly) Yes, Bath

Ray thinking that he meant it was time for a bath preceeded to try to climb over. lol He has been saying bath for a while now but he lets the 'th' hang for a while lol.

I am so glad that he has cousins both on our side and his father's side in his age group. When my family goes on vacation he always has at least two cousins to play with and when they go on vacation with his father's family he still has at least two cousins to play with. Now that's not counting my cousins grandchildren who are a year ahead of Ray and one a couple of months behind Ray. Let's just say that he won't be lonely while he's on vacation.

Last night I got home late and I was very tired. Today I plan on turning in early. I said I plan on it, whether or not it happens remains to be seen. lol I guess I better get back to work. The boss is cutting out early and I think I will too. lol Until next time

Have a blessed day!

Saturday Chatter

Hello Everyone,

Today was a good day. I felt really good. I am not nervous about the biopsy on Monday at all. So that's a good thing! Also today was the A day game for Alabama!! ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!! Can't wait for football season.

I had Ray all day today. We had a great time together and around 2 we went to my house and got to see Paw. Tomorrow I get to spend the whole day with my husband and I am excited about that. Last Sunday because of Easter I got to see him for around 5 hours. But our time together has been maybe 4 hours every week for the last 2 months.

I have really missed him! I am looking forward to seeing him in the morning and the rest of the day. I don't complain to him about not being able to see him because what he is doing is for the benefit of our family. I learned early on that his work would take him away for long periods of times. I am just happy that I get to see him for a couple of hours on Saturdays and Sundays. I am just thankful for the 4 hours a week we get. After hearing about all the people out of work we are blessed. All that God has done for us and how much he blesses us, not complaining is the least I can do.

Along with my biopsy news I had to tell Larry that his mother has to have heart surgery. This would be her third one. From what I could gather from her she has to have the same heart valve replaced. She says she is going to get a second opinion. I told her she needed to do it right away. I can understand her wanting a second opinion though. I'll let you guys know more details as I do.

My husband doesn't do well with surgeries and stuff like that. I am usually the calm one when it comes to stuff like that. He doesn't like hospitals at all. For that matter neither does our daughter. lol I know tomorrow is going to be good for us but also a little nerve racking about Monday and his mom. But as I stated I am just glad we are going to be together.

So I'll be doing a Musical Monday tomorrow but then won't be posting about the biopsy until after noon on Tuesday. I have to be at the hospital Monday at 6 a.m. and then on Tuesday at 7 a.m. but I won't get the results until Tuesday at around 11.

I need to hit the sack now Larry will be home around 5:30 a.m. and if I know my husband he'll want to talk a couple of hours then hit the sack. My problem is that usually when I wake up, I'm up for good. Which means only around 5 hours of sleep for me! So I am hoping ya'll are having a good evening. Night!

Have a blessed day!
