A Sick and Snowy Weekend

Hello Everyone,

Oh what a weekend! Not in a good way. Friday was fine. Saturday came around and I spent a few hours with my son-in-law and grandson. I was suppose to take Ray with me for the day. I started feeling a little weak. So I spent a couple hours with Ray and then I had to leave. I really missed not having him all day. Well I continued to feel weak throughout the day and then Sunday rolled around.

I woke up feeling awful on Sunday! All day I felt like that. I laid around on the couch, watched all of my DVR shows, got sick, took a nap. After I woke up I felt a little better. I was well enough to cook hubby some dinner. I had a lot planned for this weekend and really hated that I felt so sick. At least we got some beautiful snow on Sunday. Even though I didn't get out in it, I did take a few pics from the front porch.

On Monday morning I was still a little weak and a little dehydrated. It took me forever to get ready to go to work. I only went in because we had a meeting with the accountant and after that was over I was out of there. I lounged around in bed for the rest of the day and by last night I was feeling normal. Thank goodness.

Well I had had a prayer request and most of it was answered by Wednesday of last week. I really didn't expect the rest to be answered til later this week. However, it was answered ten fold on Thursday. I was so excited and surprised. God is amazing! Thanks to everyone who prayed for me.

Also my father is back home and he is doing well. I wanted to thank everyone for their prayers for him also. It is hard being so far away from him, especially when he's so sick. We just can't convince him to move out here though.

The Bachelor. Now how stupid is Jason? Not as stupid as Molly that's for sure. If I was her I would make him pay for what he did to me. Not to mention that he just broke Melissa's heart. Shouldn't Molly be a little concerned that he is so fickle? No, instead she is kissing on him and to me that was very tacky. I sure wouldn't have been 'ok, I'm yours'. I mean who wants to be someone's second choice? I don't know why I watch this stupid show. Hubby saids what's so special about him? Look at that beak plus he's going to be bald in two years. lol

Have a blessed day!

LOST - It Was Worth The Wait

Hello Everyone,

Wow LOST finally came on last night! I loved it! I didn't get off work til 6 I was wanting to finish up on what I was working on. So then I head to WalMart. At approximately 6:40 my hubby calls and asks 'Where you at?', 'Leaving WalMart, have to get gas and then I'm on my way.' Where he usually saids 'Ok be careful'. He said instead 'You know LOST is coming on tonight right?'. 'Yes, I am trying to hurry.'

Well I got home at about 3 til. Threw a pizza in the oven, grabbed a diet coke and jumped in the La-Z-Boy. I made it!! Hubby and I had been waiting patiently for it to start it's season. Let me just say that it was worth the wait. LOVE that show!

It always leaves you with more questions by the time it's over. I hate to see it end. Last night I got so engrossed in the show that when Ethan shot at Locke I jumped. lol It is such a good show.

Speaking of television shows, I have found myself watching The Bachelor. Now I have only watched about three episodes of it before when a local girl, Brooke Smith, was on it a few years ago. So when it started this season I had no intention of watching it. The first night it came on there really wasn't anything on so I thought what the heck.

Of course I had a few favorites right from the start. One of my favorites was Stephanie. I didn't know at the time that she was from Huntsville, Alabama but I just knew I liked her. She seems genuine.

My problem with this show is that I would never knowingly kiss on a guy that had just been kissing on another girl the day before. I understand that they all know that all that is going on but I just don't have it in me to be ok with it. Maybe I am too uptight because I just keep thinking of all the germs and slobber they are transferring around. Yuck!!

Since I wasn't feeling good this past weekend we didn't get to get Ray. So Monday night Summer, Josh and Ray came over for dinner. It was great to see him and when I talked to him that afternoon he grabbed his mommy's hand and was leading her to the door. He was wanting to come see his Grammy and Paw right then!

I am so fortunate that they live so close that I can see my daughter and her family several times a week. Also the rest of my family. I see my sisters every day and my mom about three times a week. My mom, brother and one sister live in Hayden so that's a little further out. My brother usually joins us for lunch on Friday's since he only works half a day. We really enjoy being with each other and our kids. Since we lost our brother, we know how important it is to keep our family close and see each other as much as we can. Not enough to get on each other nerves though. lol

I wanted to thank everyone for praying for my sister. Her surgery went great. She was a little sick afterwards but now she's on the road to recovery. Thank you so much.

Well I am about to go to lunch, I'm thinking Mexican today. Yummy!

Have a blessed day!
