Graduation for Tony!!!

Hello Everyone,

Well my nephew graduated last night from Gardendale high and I just can't believe that the kids are growing up sooo fast. Tony is going to the University of Alabama and we are all excited for him. We had a nice party afterwards and watched home movies. I was laughing so hard I was crying. I know Tony will be successful in anything he does and I am so proud of him. Here's a pic of him.

Isn't he handsome?

Although all of our kids are growing up fast my sister Angie has just started her family. She has a little boy whose 2 and a little girl whose 1. I kept them for about 3 1/2 hours one night and I want to tell you that they wore me out. They are really good kids but they are sooo active. It had been 10 years since we've had babies in the family and it's been fun to have Stevie and Keely around these last couple of years. The other night me and my sister Helen were visiting Angie and I told Stevie your so cute and he said "thank you" in the cutest little voice. We all started laughing and he kept saying it over and over.

I have twin nieces, Nikki and India, and they live behind my mother. They take this little path through the woods to get to her house; it probably isn't five feet long before they're in my mom's back yard. They are into wearing high heels right now, they are 14. Well, they were walking towards her house when a snake came down from a tree. One twin pushed the other one towards the snake and they both began screaming and running. They were trying to run in their high heels, lol. My mom said it was so funny. The fate of the snake wasn't very good though, Manuel, my stepdad, went out there and killed it.

Speaking of Manuel we are celebrating his 75th birthday on Sunday. He will actually be 75 on May 31, it's in the middle of the week so we're celebrating it early. I don't have a picture of him downloaded but I will later. Nobody believes he's that old he looks maybe around 50 or so. What's his aging secret? I guess eating all the fried food you can, eating a mexican diet all your life and drinking beer. Not to mention having 9 kids and 5 step kids. So Happy Birthday Manuel!!

Well I guess that's all for now. Everyone have a good Memorial Day weekend and be safe.

Have a blessed day!

Valerie
