My Bathroom Visitor

Hello Everyone,

Three years ago
my husband accidentally installed a handicap toilet in my bathroom. Now every time I go to a 'regular' toilet I feel like I am falling down. Which leaves me flopping down on the toilet. So now I am uncomfortable on 'regular' toilets. But I so enjoy my toilet, I am most comfortable on it now.

Sunday night I am minding my own business, trying to take care of business (if you know what I mean) when I had an unwelcomed visitor. Ok let me just say that nothing, NOTHING should interrupt you while you are doing your business. Am I right?

Now I probably haven't been in the bathroom alone since the summer of 2002. I know that because that is the summer we got Chico.

This is the look I get when I get up to go anywhere. He follows me everywhere. So I am use to him being in the bath room with me. Even when the door is closed he will scratch until it opens. He will lay in a little ball in front of the bath tub. If he thinks that I am taking too long he will start whimpering. But no it wasn't even him that was the unwelcomed visitor on this day.

As I was sitting there I seen something out of the corner of my eye. What is . . .

Screaming - Larry!

Screaming - Larry!

Screaming - Larry!

Trying to grab toilet paper to wipe. I know this part is TMI but well it wasn't numbero uno. Screaming bloody murder while your husband is in the bed -

what
?

LARRY!!!!

What is it?

He finally strolls into the bathroom.

I am screaming hysterically now!! - LOOK, LOOK, LOOK!!!

What? I don't see anything.

Screaming - THERE! ON THE TOWEL! THE TOWEL! CAN'T YOU SEE IT ON THE TOWEL?

There on the towel across from where I was sitting crawled a spider. Not just any spider mind you. The BIGGEST spider ever!!!!!!

Now everyone knows that I am scared of spiders. I hate them with a passion. I can't even bring myself to post a picture of one on my blog is how much I hate them.

Well when he finally seen it he took a swing at it. And missed!!! It falls on the floor and begins running all over the place and coming right at me.

I am screaming - Ah, Ah, Ah, KILL IT!! KILL IT!! HERE IT COMES! KILL IT!!!!

That darn spider ran in circles and he was so fast. My hubs finally killed it. It seemed like it took forever!!

Well I guess that you have guessed that I am not comfortable on my own toilet now.

Stupid spider!

Have a blessed day!

I would have freaked, but my hubby would have probably freaked even more!!! YIKES! In the spring/summer I am constantly searching the walls and ceilings when I walk into a room for spiders!!! Find them before they find me!

Eww I seriously hate spiders too. But there's no way my hubby would be in the bathroom while I'm using it. LOL

Too funny! I'm scared to death of snakes! My mama had a dog that followed her everywhere too!

Even though I enjoy most all critters, even snakes, I draw the line at spiders *in* the house. Now outside, they're OK because they do eat bugs. I leave them alone, they leave me alone. [wink] I'm with you in that I certainly don't care to be naked and staring down an 8 eyed creepy crawly!! YUCK! [lol]

I am so laughing right now!! We are totally opposite at our house. Hubby would be screaming for me to kill the spider!

Love your blog. I have a question, how did you get the side bars set the way you have them. I like how they look. I have too much space between buttons.

I'm gonna follow your blog. Thanks for stopping by mine, come back soon.

BIZARRE that you and me and Lianne all had spider incidents this week!! Are they taking over Alabama? There might be an infestation. . . which is the LAST thing you want to hear if you are phobic of them. ;)
