Yes my two nieces. Yes I was invited and yes I went.

LOL I don’t like stripes. Is that Jailhouse Rock I hear?

That I was tongue tied. lol

Yes.

I don’t remember the scents but I guess I would say vanilla since I like that scent.

Mail lady.

4 Outlets and 1 light switch.

Use to haven’t done it in a while. When the relative that we used it with died we stop using it.

Yes. Mother still hasn’t broke her back.

I hold the knob and slowly shut it tight. Unless there is someone following me out then I slam it shut real fast.

2.Train A is moving at 60 miles an hour. Train B is moving at 22 miles an hour. They will pass each other at X time. Now what color shoes are you wearing when train A derails?

Probably not wearing shoes because they will probably be knocked right off of my feet.

3. What if M&M's grew on trees? What color M&M tree would you have?

Probably nothing my spending sprees are much more expensive than that. Cheap wade!

Yes and just the other day I got a text message from a teen and we text back and forth for like 30 minutes. lol I think she was lonely.

1. Someone knocks at your door. You answer it. It's a kid from the local school selling candy bars for a fundraiser. Do you buy one?

Chocolate? Are you kidding me – yes I would buy one – even if I have to scrap together change!

2. The end of the world is tomorrow and you are out of milk - do you go buy some?

No I’d rather go buy coke!

3. Have you ever picked up the phone and called someone that you hadn't talked to in years?

Yes I have and it was great to talk to them.

4. What's on your computer desktop background?

This one on the computer I am on now – at work. Hubs and my Chico baby!

5. What was the very first movie you saw in a movie theater?

Oh my gosh. I don’t remember. My dad took us to movies every weekend growing up. It was probably a Disney movie. We loved all of the Disney movies.

6. If you had to take a 10th grade science test, do you think you would pass?

No!

No it’s still new!

Probably all of the spiders we have.

Sometimes I do. I hate it when someone is executed and later found innocent. But I sometimes feel an eye for an eye. Or I guess a life for a life.

Teddy, ooh or maybe a Pooh!!!

The last place I went was in the potty.

Don't think so but then again I can't see on the side of my head.

2. Would you rather be stung by a scorpion or bit by a snake? (Don't say either...no one wants to be in pain, that's the point. Pick one.)

Bit by a snake.

3. Do loud noises make you snappish? (i.e. A loud restaurant, screaming child next to you, booming stereo from a neighbor's house?)

No, snappish wouldn't be the word to use.

4. PETA- thoughts on this org.?

Well I am an animal lover!!! So I believe in the ethical treatment of animals. Not in being a fanatic though.

5. Would you rather be the discoverer of the Loch Ness Monster or Bigfoot? (Imagination!)

Bigfoot - always been curious about this fella.

6. When in a public toilet and it's not flushed: do you flush & use or move on to a clean one?

Move on.

7. Neighbors are having a noisy, party bonfire, what do you do?

Usually nothing unless it's every night. Then after asking them to keep it down and they don't I call my good friends at my local police station, a lot with whom I went to high school with. They have been very helpful to me in the past. Cops are our friends!

8. Do you play Monopoly? If so which version of the game?

Yes - the old version.

9. Are you a remote hog?

No, I have one and hubs has one. lol Probably because we have our own tv's too. 42" flat panel LCD x 2 baby!

10. Do you like the smell of paint?

No - I can't stand it.

Oh gosh. I have a wonderful father. He was everything a little girl would want in a dad. He got us every other weekend and we always had a great time. My father is a great man. Not only would he take us but he often took our step-brothers and half-brothers with us. My step-brothers to this day still ask about him. My cousins all remember and ask about him. He had a stroke in 1999 and isn't able to get around any more.

6. Were you dropped on your head as a child?

No. Don't think so.

7. How often do you clean your toilet?

I HATE doing this. Once a week. Is that nasty?

8. Have you ever been sunburned? Tell us about it.

Yes only once in my life on my nose. I am olive complexion so I don't really burn. It was blaring red then it started to peel. Ugly.

I always try to get at least 8.

Wow I did like four or five posts today. lol That's a record for me. But it's time for . . .

Ok so that's my thunks for today. I am off tomorrow. I have several errands I have to run plus my nieces are graduating from high school. So that means a party afterwards then I plan on going to see my sister's new house in Hayden. I will have 2 sisters, 1 brother and my parents living up there now. Soon my daughter will live a couple of towns over in Sumiton. They are building on their land with a lake!! My husband loves that idea. They have 10 acres and want us to build by them. We are thinking about it!

Deborah Barrone from Everybody Loves Raymond - but I sing like Edith Bunker! (ok I am editing this answer to add my husband's opionion - he saids I am more like Alice from the "Honeymooners" - I think the show was on and off the air before I was ever born!)

3. What kind of dreams do you have?

When I can remember them usually good ones.

I am laying in my white iron brass bed with my favorite light blue/cream colored sheets. My chocolate and gold quilt that my mother bought me is on top and I am snuggling. All of my pillows are fluffed behind me and I am reading a Beth Moore book. My husband is beside me watching our 42" LCD flat panel HD tv. Life is good!! Exactly what I plan on doing this weekend!!

My Husband's Surprise & Thursday Thunks

Hello Everyone,

So Tuesday night while I was writing yesterday's post I was in such a hurry I forgot to mention my husband's surprise. When I walked into the house I smelt a delicious smell. It smelled so good!! My husband is a great cook but he rarely ever does it anymore. So I was really surprised. So when I was escorted back into the living room I knocked out yesterday's post forgetting to even mention what my great husband was doing for me.

After a great dinner (scrumptious!) I took a long hot shower. I was then given a back rub. Oh my goodness did I need one. I hadn't realized how stress I was. I guess his being gone and all the medical stuff had really took a toll on me. I totally passed out! I didn't wake up again until about 8:15 yesterday morning. Yes I was late to work but it was so worth that extra hour and half of sleep.

I actually didn't get to work til like 11:45. Right when I was getting ready to leave, around 9:45, the tornado sirens started wailing. No way was I going anywhere until that was over! When I did get to work it was a rush of busyness, then a lull, then another rush of busyness. I'd rather be busy all day than a little at a time. Staying busy makes the day go by so much faster. But all I really wanted to do was go back home and crawl back in the bed.

Blog Design, My Bible and Thursday Thunks

Hello Everyone,

Remember back in February when I was having blogging issues so I switched to Firefox? Well if you don't I was having blogging issues and switched to Firefox. lol I just want to say that I love Firefox! I have been using it on all of my home computers and my work computer since then. It really works a lot better than Internet Explorer.

Remember back in February when I posted that I was going to be looking for someone to make me a new blog template? Well if you don't back in February I had decided to find someone to make me a new blog template. Thus began my search for a blog designer. I looked at several people but the three that I liked best were Jennisa over at Once Upon A Blog, Danielle at The Design Girl Blog Design (formerly Blogs by Danielle) and April at April Showers. I know several bloggy buddies who have used all of them. All of them got great reviews.

Now while the other two are great I went with April. All three of them are very talented and do great work. I picked April because I really liked her illustrations the best. All of her illustrated people have different faces and I liked that. So sometimes next month I should have a whole new cute template. Yay!!

Monday when I went to Bible study I left a little sad. I love the class so it wasn't that. I have had my Bible since I was 10 years old. I have had the cover since about 1986. Well Monday I looked at that old cover that had lace hanging down from where the stitches have gave way and it looked a little dirty. I don't want to wash it because I am afraid it will just tear apart. So I thought well I'll take the cover off and just take my Bible. My Bible cover looks great. I had to take out all of my notes, obituaries, book markers from past loved ones and pictures of my brother Ray. I also had to take out a cross necklace I got when I was 20 that I've always kept in my Bible. I didn't want to lose any of it so I just left it all at home.

When I got to Bible study I noticed that the cover is about to come completely off of my Bible. That is why I was sad when I left Bible study. After I left I went and bought me a new cover and a new Bible. I am going to put everything back into my old Bible and put it next to my bed where it has laid for years. I am retiring it. I am sad.

I love Bible study. We are doing "Esther - It's Tough Being A Woman" by Beth Moore. It is great. I was so excited when I found out we would be studying Beth Moore.

I am an ugly woman. I was an ugly baby and child even! It is a fact. I am 36 now and I have never had a boyfriend, and I am still a virgin.

Due to me not having men in my life, I have poured everything I have in to education and my career. At 36 I am the youngest (and first female CEO) at a big, successful, tech company. I have over 200 personal patents and millions of pounds in investments.

I have everything: huge house, holiday villa in Spain, 3 cars, power boat, a race horse, etc. but as much I try to talk myself into everything being “great” I cannot help but to miss that special someone to share it all with.

Most of my friends are married with kids and I feel like I am gradually drifting away from them also.

Where can I find someone to marry an ugly woman?

Go to Alaska apparently the man to woman ratio is pretty good. Plus they like ugly women.

It's A Wonderful Life lol. (not the lol part)

Nope, didn't go to prom.

3. What is your favorite spice to use cooking?

Hmm I like to use salt, pepper and crushed red pepper the most.

6. In the Miss USA pageant, Miss California was asked; "Vermont recently became the fourth state to legalize same sex marriage. Do you think every state should follow suit? Why or why not?" and her answer was; "Well I think it's great that Americans are able to choose one or the other. Um, we live in a land that you can choose same sex marriage or opposite marriage and, you know what, in my country and in, in my family, I think that I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman," Carrie said to a mix of boos and applause. "No offense to anybody out there. But that's how I was raised and that's how I think that it should be between a man and a woman." Do you think that cost her the crown?

I would hope it didn't. That is the way she felt and that's what they wanted to know. She was honest and should be applauded for that.

Most of the time unless I am busy with something else.

Let's see I would have to say Lil Pony, Fraggle Rock or Ninja Turtles.

No, well maybe a little. But I leave everything in God's hands.

Well mine is usually Christian but my husband was driving last and I think it's on Rock now. I have Sirius radio and love it!!

15. Would you rather wake up with a snake in your bed or a lizard?

A lizard!

16. Do you think schools have changed at all since the Columbine tragedy 10 years ago? In what ways?

Not a lot. All I have noticed is what they call a Resource Officer at school now.

I am feeling much better today. I am not as weak or dizzy. I may even venture out to WalMart as I need a few things. I had wanted to do a Thankful Thursday today but while I know a few that do it I couldn't find a website with a Mr. Linky to link back to. Do any of you know of one?
